  • ore 10.00Palazzo della Racchetta – SHOWCASE SECTION - Meeting with Marco Buttu (electronic engineer and researcher INAF - National Institute of Astrophysics) and the crew of Concordia Station in Antarctica. We will discuss the environment and climate crisis, from the perspective of the 36th expedition organized by Pnra - Enea - CNR. A year on the edge of life, to also study psychophysical adaptation in extreme conditions, in preparation for a future mission to Mars. Marco Buttu will present his book " Marte Bianco " (LSWR Editions, 2019).


Next: meeting with Manuela Della Monica on the project LINFA - Artificial Singing Plant, a research work that examines the dualism of human-machine compared with the redundant concept of human nature. LINFA is the analysis of signals emitted from houseplants via an electrical circuit, reprocessed by artificial intelligence, which produces an experimental audiovisual compartment. An extensive reflection on topics such as nature, environment, ecology, technological development, and gestural authorship in contemporary art.

  • ore 15.30Sala Estense – Presentation of the university-originated project LINFA - Artificial Singing Plant and practical demonstration of the dialogue between technology and vegetation through sound. A new and different understanding of the natural environment, between science and art. By and with Manuela Della Monica.



  • ore 16.30Sala Estense – Screening of the docufilm " 2050: Cronache Marine," produced by Istituto Oikos. Next: meeting with Camilla Macchioni, Head of Institutional Communications at Istituto Oikos, a nonprofit organization committed, in Europe and the countries of the South of the world, to the preservation of biodiversity and the diffusion of more sustainable lifestyles. We will discuss environmental awareness and the climate crisis. Screening of the video " Voce Alla Natura" and promotion of the important petition dedicated to the green transition of urban areas, promoted by Istituto Oikos, in partnership with Ferrara Film Corto Festival.




  • ore 17.45Sala Estense – Presentation of the book " ARTISTI VISIONARI". Viaggio ai confini dell'arte e della parola" by Roberta Tosi ( Odoya Editions, 2022), with poetic inserts by Davide Rondoni. The two authors will be in attendance for a discussion related to the book's themes.




  • ore 20.30Sala Estense – Environmental-themed conference meeting titled "#CLIMATECHANGE between science and activism." With Stefano Mazzotti (Director of the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Ferrara) and Giulia Bigazzi (Author, Activist of the Fridays For Future Italia movement). Panel discussion moderated. With the screening of some videos.

Next: LIVE video meeting from the U.S. with Andrew Levitas, actor, producer, Global Patron of The Wilderness Foundation, Ambassador to the Tusk Trust, and director of the globally acclaimed environmental-themed feature film "Minamata", starring Johnny Depp. Andrew Levitas will be presented with a Special Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions in the social field by the Artistic Direction of FFCF 2022 "Environment is Music."

Palazzo Della Racchetta: Free entry is subject to availability.


Apollo Cinepark: Entrance fee with ticket purchase at the cinema box office, or online at apollocinepark.it


Exhibitions at Palazzo Della Racchetta and Hotel Torre Della Vittoria will be open daily for the entire duration of the Festival.


All events are conducted in full compliance with current Anti-Covid regulations. It is mandatory to wear a mask in the venue for the duration of the stay.
